Turris to manage Amerigo Liguori Stadium after failed tender

The management tender for the Amerigo Liguori Stadium in Torre del Greco has failed after both submitted bids were declared ineligible and inadmissible. As a result, the municipality has been forced to appoint the football club Turris to manage the facility on a provisional basis.

Turris will oversee the complex until October 31, 2026, while the local administration prepares to reopen the procedure to find a permanent concessionaire for the remainder of the 2026/27 season. The failed tender followed a July announcement that sought expressions of interest, but the emergence of a second candidacy from a local amateur association led the commission to declare the process void.
