Tuscaloosa hosts Kentuck Festival of the Arts and new multimedia exhibition

The Kentuck Festival of the Arts is returning to Tuscaloosa, an event expected to provide economic benefits and increased exposure for the region by attracting thousands of attendees and hundreds of artists.

Additionally, the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa will host “Forget Me Knots,” a multimedia exhibition by University of Alabama student Rose Kimbrough. Running from November 6 through December 16, 2026, at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center, the exhibition features artwork created from recycled and rescued materials, including paper scraps and plexiglass etchings. The collection explores the connection between memory and physical locations through various printing and layering techniques.
