Tuscaloosa mass shooting leaves eight people wounded

A mass shooting in west Tuscaloosa, Alabama, has left eight people wounded. The incident occurred in the 2600 block of 22nd Street around 10:48 p.m. on Saturday.

Initially, seven victims were identified, three of whom sustained serious injuries. A subsequent report confirmed an eighth victim arrived at a hospital on Sunday with a graze wound. All victims were reported to be in stable condition.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting with assistance from the FBI. Federal investigators have established a digital tip line, requesting that anyone with photos, cellphone video, or surveillance footage from the scene or surrounding area submit the information to assist the ongoing investigation.
