Tuscan delegations engage with EU officials in Brussels
Delegations from Tuscany are engaging with European Union institutions in Brussels to influence upcoming policy decisions and resource allocations.
Confindustria Toscana Nord met with Italian parliamentarians and EU officials to discuss strategic issues affecting the manufacturing sector. Key topics included international trade negotiations with China, energy, innovation, and sustainability. Specifically, the delegation addressed circular economy initiatives, recycling incentives, and regulations regarding ecodesign and waste management.
Simultaneously, UPI Toscana will participate in the European Week of Regions and Cities. This mission, held in collaboration with ANCI Toscana and the Tuscany Region, focuses on cohesion policies and the negotiations for the 2028-2034 EU budget. The delegation aims to advocate for the role of local provinces in shaping investment priorities and ensuring that European decisions respond to the specific needs of local territories.
