Tuscany allocates 300,000 euros to complete Arno cycleway

The Tuscany Region has approved an additional 300,000 euros to complete the Arno cycleway in the San Giovanni Valdarno area. This supplementary funding follows a project cost increase necessitated by technical challenges.

During the service conference, it was discovered that the original path interfered with an SNAM pipeline, requiring a route adjustment. The updated project includes the construction of an equipped rest area for cyclists and the planting of new trees to assist with microclimate mitigation. The regional government stated that this support ensures the completion of a strategic project within the broader regional Arno cycleway initiative.
