La Monastica Resort & Spa, located in Buggiano Castello, has transformed the 16th-century Santa Scolastica monastery into a contemporary luxury destination. The restoration project, which began in 2005, aims to preserve the architectural integrity of the former religious complex while providing 19 rooms and suites, historic gardens, and wellness facilities.

In the Valdera region, Agriturismo Podere Bucine Basso near Casciana Terme is hosting a seafood-themed dinner titled ‘Profumo di Mare tra le Colline’ on August 29. The event features a menu including swordfish carpaccio, seafood pasta, and grilled prawns, set within the hills of Pisa.
