Italy regional authorities launch social and educational support initiatives
Various regional and local initiatives across Italy and Molise are addressing social, educational, and infrastructural needs. In Emilia-Romagna, the Riccione socio-sanitary district has opened applications for rent subsidies of up to 2,000 euros per family to alleviate housing costs.
In Molise, approximately 1.2 million euros have been allocated to support secondary school students with textbook costs based on ISEE levels. Meanwhile, in Sicily, 5 million euros are being distributed to various municipalities, including those in the province of Syracuse, to support local finance and tax collection. Additionally, nearly 2.8 million euros are designated for third-sector social projects addressing poverty and disability.
Infrastructure and public services are also seeing updates. Roseto degli Abruzzi has inaugurated a new school canteen following a 530,000 euro investment. In Teramo, the Roman Theater project has been approved to create a 600-seat arena. Other local developments include urban surveillance projects in Abruzzo, the redevelopment of Villa Comunale in Avellino, and various maintenance efforts for local waterways and public spaces.
