Tuskegee upsets No. 15 Benedict to lead SIAC

Tuskegee University pulled off an upset victory against the No. 15 ranked Benedict Tigers. With this win, the Tuskegee Golden Tigers now sit at the top of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC).

Prior to the matchup, Benedict entered the game with an unbeaten record and sought to overcome a historical difficulty playing at Tuskegee, where they had not won in available records dating back to 1997. The game was played in a distinctive atmosphere at Tuskegee, featuring the student section known as ‘The Shed’ and a nationally televised broadcast on ESPN2.
