TUSSIES Metzingen handball prepares for Bundesliga match against HC Leipzig

TUSSIES Metzingen handball prepares for an away match against HC Leipzig in the Bundesliga. Following recent challenges in the DHB Cup and European League qualification, the team seeks crucial league points.

Head coach Miriam Hirsch noted that the team is dealing with injuries, specifically a knee injury to Gabriela Bitolo, which may impact her availability for the Leipzig game. Hirsch also highlighted the difficulty of facing Leipzig, an established team despite their status as newcomers to the top division.

HC Leipzig, coached by Erik Töpfer, currently sits at the bottom of the table with zero points, though they have shown competitive performance in the second halves of recent matches against Oldenburg and Göppingen.
