Tuttosport announces 2026 Golden Boy award nominees

Tuttosport has announced the 25-man shortlist for the 2026 Golden Boy award, which recognizes the best football talent under the age of 21 playing in Europe’s top-tier leagues.

Pau Cubarsí of Barcelona is identified as a frontrunner for the award. Other notable nominees include Chelsea players Estêvão and Jorrel Hato, as well as Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly. The Premier League holds the highest representation of nominees among single leagues, with eight players included on the list.

Established in 2003, the Golden Boy award is decided by a panel of journalists from publications such as France Football, L’Equipe, Marca, and The Times. To ensure variety, the award rules stipulate that no player can win the trophy more than once.
