Tuwaiq Academy concludes Expo 2030 Riyadh challenge

Tuwaiq Academy, in partnership with Misk Skills and Expo 2030 Riyadh, has concluded the ‘Expo 2030 Riyadh Challenge’. Held in Riyadh from October 15 to 17, the event featured more than 80 participating teams and was supervised by over 100 judges and mentors.

The competition aimed to develop innovative technical solutions for real-world challenges related to the objectives of Expo 2030 Riyadh. Participants competed across six primary tracks: smart visitor experience, sustainability and environmental impact, exhibition operations and safety, site handover and construction, digital identity and services/trade, and cultural heritage and promotion.

Officials noted that the initiative serves to build national capabilities and bridge the gap between educational outcomes and labor market requirements. The solutions presented are intended to contribute to the future readiness and exceptional visitor experience of the upcoming Expo.
