Tuyen Quang driver and owner fined 92 million VND for overcapacity bus

A driver and vehicle owner in Tuyen Quang province face combined fines exceeding 92 million VND after a 20-seat passenger bus was found carrying 32 people. The vehicle was operating on the Xin Man - Hai Phong route when it was intercepted by traffic police on National Highway 2.

The driver, identified as T. S. H., was cited for failing to instruct passengers to sit in designated positions and for carrying more passengers than permitted on a long-distance route. The driver faces a fine of 18.15 million VND and a deduction of 4 license points. The vehicle owner is expected to be fined 74 million VND and face a two-month suspension of the vehicle's operating permit.
