Following the cancellation of high school graduation exam results due to widespread misconduct at Tuyen Quang Specialized High School, a re-examination is being conducted on August 14 and 15. The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has implemented strict oversight, including a 5-member national supervision team to monitor both the testing and grading processes.

Out of the 328 eligible students, 326 have proceeded with the re-examination, while two students opted out as they are already enrolled in university. To ensure integrity, security has been significantly tightened, with police forces and specialized canine units patrolling the perimeter. The re-examination utilizes the original identification numbers and room assignments from the initial June exam session.

In connection with the original irregularities, authorities have prosecuted 29 individuals, including school officials and teachers, for abusing their positions during the performance of public duties.
