Tuyên Quang Border Guard Women's Union honored for service

The Women's Union of the Tuyên Quang Border Guard has been recognized for its creative and effective contributions to both professional duties and social movements. Members have played a central role in maintaining border security and supporting local communities.

Key activities include conducting propaganda to prevent human trafficking in border communes such as Lao Chải. By working alongside border guard stations and local women's forces, members help disseminate legal knowledge and government policies to ethnic minority populations.

Lieutenant Colonel Văn Thị Tuyết Hoa noted that despite limited personnel and high workloads, members maintain a high sense of responsibility to ensure that their professional excellence provides a stable foundation for soldiers stationed at the borders.
