Tuz Gölü salt formations attract visitors as water levels recede

As water levels recede at Tuz Gölü in Turkey, unique natural formations have emerged, drawing significant interest from tourists and nature enthusiasts. The receding waters have revealed crystallized salt layers and unusual rock-like salt structures that resemble mushrooms.

These formations create a vast white landscape that visitors describe as feeling like walking on snow. Some of the layered salt masses bear a visual resemblance to the travertines of Pamukkale. The area, particularly near the Eskil shores, offers striking visual displays during sunset, making it a popular destination for photography.
