Tuzla 2013 murder: Supreme Court confirms prison sentences for five

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued a final ruling confirming prison sentences for five individuals involved in a 2013 shooting in Tuzla. The group was convicted of murder and attempted murder.

Damir Mehić Bibi received 16.5 years in prison. Amir Lisičić was sentenced to 15 years, while Amir Mehić received 10 years and nine months. Additionally, Denis Rahmanović was sentenced to 10 months and Mersed Mehanović to four months. Collectively, the five defendants received more than 40 years of imprisonment.

The incident occurred on June 22, 2013, in central Tuzla, resulting in the death of Emir Džinić and attempted killings of brothers Amir and Nail Hodžić. The court confirmed the sentences after rejecting appeals from the defense.
