Tuzla Canton awards over 350 sports scholarships with 300,000 KM funding

Minister for Culture, Sports and Youth of Tuzla Canton, Damir Gazdić, presented 227 school‑sports scholarship decisions for the 2025 season, allocating 100,000 KM. The awards range from 600 KM for university‑league winners to 300 KM for primary‑school athletes, and also cover teachers and coaches who guided the students.

In a related ceremony the ministry granted 151 scholarships to athletes and coaches who recorded notable results in 2025, backed by a further 200,000 KM. Recipients include members of Athletics Club “Sloboda‑Tehnograd” and trainer Jasmin Gavranović, who praised the support for para‑Olympic and other sports. Together the two programs provide roughly 300,000 KM to hundreds of young sportspersons and their mentors across the canton.
