Tuzla Canton marks 34th anniversary of 2nd Corps ARBiH formation

Tuzla Canton has launched a multi-day program to commemorate the 34th anniversary of the formation of the 2nd Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH). The program includes visits to battlefields, monuments, and cemeteries to honor fallen soldiers and martyrs.

Officials, including Tuzla Canton Prime Minister Irfan Halilagić and Minister for Veterans Affairs Senada Dizdarević, emphasized the importance of maintaining a culture of remembrance. A primary goal of this year's activities is to educate younger generations about the historical role of the 2nd Corps in defending the region.

The commemorations will conclude on September 29 with a central manifestation and a formal academy at the Bosnian Cultural Center in Tuzla, featuring a cultural and historical program designed to engage local students and youth.
