Tuzla court confirms indictment for attempted murder

The Cantonal Court in Tuzla has confirmed the indictment against 61-year-old Salih Hidanović for attempted murder. The incident occurred on July 14, 2026, in the Solina neighborhood of Tuzla.

According to the prosecution, Hidanović engaged in a verbal dispute with his 64-year-old neighbor, M. H., before attacking her with a large kitchen knife. The indictment states that Hidanović slashed the woman's face and held a knife to her throat while she was on the ground. The prosecution noted that the suspect was under the heavy influence of alcohol at the time. The attack was reportedly prevented from escalating by bystanders who intervened.

Hidanović's detention has been extended by the court as the criminal proceedings continue.
