Tuzla Municipality appoints Eyüp Sunar as Deputy Mayor

Tuzla Mayor Eren Ali Bingöl has appointed Eyüp Sunar as Deputy Mayor of Tuzla Municipality. Sunar, a civil engineer and former municipal council member, officially began his role on September 1, 2026.

In his new capacity, Sunar will oversee several critical service areas, including Disaster Affairs and Risk Management, Science Affairs, and Parks and Gardens. His responsibilities will focus on disaster preparedness, infrastructure, and the coordination of urban green spaces.
