Gornja Tuzla school student arrested after knife attack on classmates

A 15-year-old student was arrested after attacking two 14-year-old classmates with a knife in the courtyard of Gornja Tuzla Elementary School in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The incident occurred around 9:25 AM on September 4.

The two victims were transported by emergency services to the University Clinical Center in Tuzla. While they sustained various cuts to their arms, shoulders, and legs, medical officials confirmed they are in stable condition and their lives are not in danger. One student sustained a cut to the left forearm, while the other suffered injuries to the left shin, shoulder, and arm.

School principal Azra Feukić stated that the school immediately implemented emergency measures, notified parents, and contacted relevant authorities. The Tuzla Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that the suspect is currently under police supervision. A prosecutor from the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office is overseeing the investigation to determine the circumstances of the attack. Due to the age of the individuals involved, authorities have limited the amount of specific information released to protect the rights of minors.
