Tuzla to host ETHNO BiH festival for young musicians

The ETHNO BiH festival is set to take place in Tuzla from August 23 to August 30. The event will bring together more than 50 young musicians from Bosnia and Herzegovina and various other countries to participate in a week of musical exchange, workshops, and collaborative performances.

A unique aspect of the festival is that participants do not arrive with a pre-prepared program. Instead, they bring traditional songs and melodies from their respective backgrounds and work together to create a new, shared repertoire. The central hub for daily workshops and rehearsals will be the Kuća plamena mira.

Organized by akustikUm – Muzička omladina JMBH, which represents Jeunesses Musicales International in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the festival is part of a global Ethno network. The event concludes with a final concert on Friday, August 28, at the Bluesberry cafe in Tuzla's City Park, where the musicians will present the repertoire developed during the festival.
