Tuzla vehicle registration delays spark criticism from NPUS

The Nova penzionerska/umirovljenička stranka (NPUS) in Tuzla has raised concerns regarding significant delays in vehicle registration processes within the Tuzla Canton. According to the party, vehicle owners who have completed technical inspections and paid all required fees are facing waits of up to 15 days to receive their official traffic documentation and registration stickers.

NPUS attributes these delays to organizational failures within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton and the Tuzla Canton Police Administration. The party argues that the current administrative workload is not being adequately adjusted to accommodate the increasing number of registered vehicles.

Furthermore, the party highlighted that these delays place citizens in a precarious legal position, as they may face penalties for driving without the necessary stickers despite having fulfilled all state obligations. The situation also reportedly causes friction for insurance companies, whose employees face criticism from dissatisfied vehicle owners during the waiting period.
