Tuzlu Kahve series to premiere on Star TV

The new Star TV series ‘Tuzlu Kahve’ is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 1, at 20:00. Produced by Poll Films, the family comedy explores the intersection of two families with different cultures and lifestyles as they navigate marriage preparations.

The plot centers on the meeting between Gözde, played by Eda Ece, and Mehmet, a holding heir returning to Turkey from the United States, played by Buğra Gülsoy. The series title refers to the traditional Turkish ritual of serving salty coffee during marriage proposals, which serves as a symbol of the conflicts arising between the two families.

The production features a large ensemble cast, including Binnur Kaya, Şevval Sam, Nebahat Çehre, Settar Tanrıöğen, and Yasemin Ergene. Other notable actors in the cast include Enis Arıkan, Sarp Apak, Ceren Moray, and Cengiz Bozkurt.
