TV 2 takes action after reality show winner is spoiled

The Norwegian broadcaster TV 2 is taking corrective measures after accidental spoilers compromised the outcomes of its reality programming. The leaks occurred because a participant appearing in two different series filmed themselves, inadvertently capturing a winner's trophy in the background of a video.

TV 2 press chief Jan Petter Dahl acknowledged the situation, describing the leaks as ‘unfortunate’ and ‘boring’ for the viewing experience. To mitigate the impact, the network has decided to release a new version of the affected program where the spoiler is masked to prevent further exposure.
