TV Asahi variety show ‘Azatoke te nani ga warui no?’ to end in September

The TV Asahi variety program ‘Azatoke te nani ga warui no?’ is scheduled to end its run on September 24 after six years of broadcasting. The show, which explores the concept of ‘azatosa’ (calculated cuteness or charm), transitioned to a regular series in October 2020 following a successful special in 2019.

Current MCs Ryota Yamasato and Airi Suzuki expressed their gratitude to the viewers and staff. Yamasato reflected on his time with the show, noting how he initially struggled to keep up with former hosts Minami Tanaka and Ayaka Hironaka. Suzuki shared her journey from being a fan of the program to taking on the significant responsibility of co-hosting.

The final month of September will feature a series of special guest appearances, including EXILE TAKAHIRO, Miki Fujimoto, and members of Naniwa Danshi. The final episode on September 24 will see the return of former hosts Minami Tanaka and Ayaka Hironaka.
