TV Brasil to feature guitarist Roger Oliveira on ‘Duelo de Guitarras’
TV Brasil will broadcast a new episode of the musical reality show ‘Duelo de Guitarras’ this Saturday, October 3, at 1:30 PM. The episode focuses on the career of Rio de Janeiro-based guitarist Roger Oliveira.
Oliveira, who has been playing for 25 years, began his musical journey at age 15 playing the acoustic guitar in a church. His interest in the electric guitar was significantly influenced by a Dire Straits album gifted by his mother. In addition to his performance career, Oliveira also specializes in guitar maintenance and repair.
The episode highlights his journey through the competition, including musical duels in genres such as classic rock, xote, baião, bossa nova, and jazz. It also features a notable musical encounter where Oliveira performs a solo alongside veteran musician Victor Biglione.
