TV Fronteira switches affiliation from Jovem Pan to Record

TV Fronteira, based in Presidente Prudente, has signed an agreement to switch its programming affiliation from TV Jovem Pan to Record. The new contract is set to take effect on November 1, though Jovem Pan programming will remain on air until November 15.

Starting November 16, the station will begin broadcasting Record's lineup, which includes national programming alongside regional content produced directly in Presidente Prudente. The transition is expected to involve a reorganization of local teams and schedules to accommodate Record's regional journalism slots, particularly within the 'Balanço Geral' blocks.

Key factors driving the decision include Record's consolidated national programming, a broader journalistic structure, and a schedule perceived as more attractive to advertisers. Additionally, the station reportedly sought to move away from Jovem Pan due to its more segmented profile and delays in the transmission of JP News programming.
