TV Gelnhausen takes lead in 3. Liga Süd-West

TV Gelnhausen has moved to the top of the 3. Liga Süd-West standings following a 38:21 victory against HV Vallendar. The win, achieved in front of 800 spectators at the Rudi-Lechleidner-Halle, leaves the team undefeated with a 16:2 record.

Despite missing several players due to injuries, including Max Bechert, Alexander Bechert, Benjamin Wörner, and Finn Trinczek, the team maintained control throughout the match. Yannick Mocken led the scoring with eight goals, followed by captain Jonathan Malolepszy with seven.

The victory follows a recent draw against HSG Krefeld Niederrhein, which allowed Gelnhausen to overtake the previous leaders after Krefeld lost their match against Saarlouis.
