TV Globinho to return for special broadcast in 2026

TV Globo has announced the return of the children's program ‘TV Globinho’ for a special one-day broadcast on October 10, 2026. The revival is part of the ‘Maratona da Esperança’, a programming block dedicated to the 2026 ‘Criança Esperança’ campaign, held in partnership with UNESCO.

Originally aired from 2000 to 2015, the program was a staple of morning television, featuring popular cartoons such as Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, and SpongeBob SquarePants. The special edition aims to leverage nostalgia by revisiting iconic characters, games, and memories from the show's history.

While the broadcaster has not yet confirmed the specific presenters or the exact lineup of cartoons, former host Geovanna Tominaga expressed enthusiasm for the project. The ‘Maratona da Esperança’ will run from October 10 to October 12, concluding with the ‘Show da Esperança’ on Monday, October 12.
