TV Globo to broadcast ‘Harold and the Purple Crayon’ on Friday

TV Globo will broadcast the film ‘Harold and the Purple Crayon’ (Harold e o Lápis Mágico) during its ‘Sessão da Tarde’ programming this Friday, October 9. The film, released in 2024, is directed by Brazilian filmmaker Carlos Saldanha.

The story follows Harold, a character living within the pages of a children's book, who possesses a magical purple crayon capable of bringing any drawing to life. The plot advances when Harold draws himself out of the book and into the real world, where he must navigate the complexities of reality and protect his magical tool from falling into the wrong hands.

The cast includes Zachary Levi in the title role, alongside Zooey Deschanel, Lil Rel Howery, and Benjamin Bottani. The broadcast is expected to begin around 16:05, following the program ‘Edição Especial – Além do Tempo’.
