TV Globo to broadcast Men in Black 3 on Sessão da Tarde

TV Globo will broadcast the science fiction action film ‘Men in Black 3’ as part of its ‘Sessão da Tarde’ programming this Friday, August 28. Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, the 2012 film stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones as Agents J and K.

The plot follows Agent J as he travels back to 1969 to prevent a catastrophe caused by the escape of a dangerous alien named Boris, the Animal. During his time travel, J encounters a younger version of Agent K, played by Josh Brolin, and works to protect the future of Earth while uncovering the origins of his partnership with K.

The film, which had an estimated budget of $225 million, was a commercial success, earning over $624 million at the global box office. ‘Sessão da Tarde’ is a long-standing afternoon film slot on Brazilian television, having aired since 1974.
