Cecília Malan announces relocation of TV Globo's London bureau

Journalist Cecília Malan announced the relocation of TV Globo’s London bureau during a live broadcast of the program ‘Hora 1’. After more than 20 years operating out of Camden Town in North London, the news organization is moving its international operations to a more central area of the city.

Malan, who has been a correspondent in London since 2015, noted that while the physical location is changing, the new office will aim to preserve the aesthetic charm of the current space, specifically mentioning the traditional English brickwork that has become a visual identity for the bureau’s European coverage.

During the announcement, Malan reflected on her career with the broadcaster, which began in 2005, and honored the various journalists who have worked at the Camden Town office over the decades. The transition marks a new phase for the network's international presence in Europe.
