TV host Hu Gua visits massive toy and baseball memorabilia collections

In a recent episode of the YouTube channel ‘Xia Mian Yi Wei’, television host Hu Gua visited Hsinchu, Taiwan, to explore two extraordinary private collections.

The first collector has spent over 30 years accumulating more than 23,000 items, including anime figures, movie models, and rare cards, with an estimated total value exceeding 100 million TWD. Notable pieces include a large Ultraman model, one of only two known to have existed in Taiwan. The collector described the hobby as a spiritual refuge and aims to preserve these items as a museum for future generations.

The second collection focuses on professional baseball gloves. The collector showcased various items, including rare Shohei Ohtani gloves, such as a limited edition of 50 and a highly unique version of which only five are known to exist globally. One specific glove was reportedly purchased for over 100,000 TWD.
