German television presenter Laura Wontorra confirmed she is in a relationship with sports journalist Riccardo Basile. The pair, who have known each other for years through industry events and co‑hosting duties on Sky’s football talk show, were first seen together publicly at the 70th‑birthday celebration of businessman Clemens Tönnies in Rheda‑Wiedenbrück.

Basile, a former co‑host with Wontorra’s father Jörg on the same football program, works as a sport moderator and holds degrees in political and communication studies. Wontorra, known for her work on RTL, DAZN and Magenta TV and a brief stint on "Let's Dance", said she does not rely on dating apps and prefers serendipitous meetings. She also reflected on balancing a demanding career with personal life, noting it remains her biggest challenge.
