TV Markíza announces 18th season of Farma set in vineyards

TV Markíza has announced the 18th season of its reality series, ‘Farma’, which will feature a new setting focused on viticulture and winemaking. Set in an abandoned winery in the Malé Karpaty region, fourteen contestants will compete for a prize of 100,000 euros by revitalizing a neglected vineyard and producing their own wine.

The new season introduces several changes, including the division of participants into two groups with different living conditions and the addition of a professional expert, winemaker Tomáš Duda, to assist the host, Martin Bagara. Marek Fašiang will continue as the moderator.

Among the first contestants revealed are Mercedes Mersi Gálisová, a hair salon owner known from the show ‘Ruža pre nevestu’, and Juraj Chlpek, a barber from Malacky. The series is scheduled to premiere on September 7 at 10:00 PM, with early access available for Voyo subscribers.
