TV Markíza connects hit series ‘Sľub’ and ‘Dunaj’ via crossover

TV Markíza is connecting its two most popular series, ‘Sľub’ and ‘Dunaj, k vašim službám’, through a narrative crossover. Although the shows are set in different eras—1945 and 1986 respectively—the storylines are being linked via a historical object.

The connection began when a 40-year-old chest was discovered in a garden, containing documents that bridge the decades. This plot development allows the character Adela Brunovská, originally played by Nela Pocisková in the 1945 setting, to appear in the 1986 setting as an older version portrayed by Ľudmila Mandžárová.

Both series have recently seen high viewership. ‘Sľub’ achieved a 7.9 percent rating and a 41.6 percent market share in the 15–57 age demographic, while ‘Dunaj, k vašim službám’ secured second place in the same group with a 7.2 percent rating.
