SATRO to increase Touch TV digital television package prices

The Slovak operator SATRO has announced price increases for its Touch TV digital television service, effective September 1, 2026. The adjustment follows a period where prices had remained unchanged since 2020, despite a 30.1 percent rise in inflation and the addition of 67 new programs.

Under the new pricing structure, the MINI+ package will cost 8.90 EUR (up from 4.90 EUR), the KLASIK package will rise to 13.90 EUR (up from 8.90 EUR), and the KOMFORT package will increase to 20.90 EUR (up from 14.90 EUR). Additionally, the MAGYAR supplement will cost 3.90 EUR.

To mitigate the impact of these increases, SATRO is introducing a new entry-level MINI package for 5.90 EUR, offering 30 channels including STVR, Markíza, JOJ, and ČT. The updated packages also feature expanded channel lists, such as international news outlets like CNN International and Al Jazeera English in the MINI+ tier.
