TÜV organizations are developing a joint framework to certify the quality and security of artificial intelligence systems. This initiative aims to provide companies with verifiable proof of reliability for their customers and business partners.

The move comes in response to growing concerns regarding AI risks. A study by the TÜV Association indicates that 79 percent of German citizens fear unpredictable risks associated with AI, while only 53 percent of current users trust that AI-generated results are correct.

Currently, the certification program is being tested with pilot partners under real-world conditions. The official rollout for companies is expected to begin by the end of 2026.
