TV programming features action films Wanted and Absolution

Television broadcasts include the action film ‘Wanted’ and the thriller ‘Absolution’.

‘Wanted’, directed by Timur Bekmambetov and based on the comic by Mark Millar, features an ensemble cast including James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie, and Morgan Freeman. The plot follows Wesley Gibson, an office worker who discovers his late father was a legendary assassin and joins a secret brotherhood. The film is rated for audiences aged 18 and up due to its stylized violence and intense action sequences.

‘Absolution’, directed by Hans Petter Moland, stars Liam Neeson as an aging former boxer and gangster working for a Boston crime boss. The story focuses on his struggle with memory loss and his attempt to reconcile with his estranged daughter while navigating the criminal underworld. Despite Neeson’s established reputation in the action genre, the film received mixed to poor reviews from critics and audiences.
