TV Ratings: Brazil's The Noite Beats Record, Portugal's Jornal da Noite Leads

Brazil's late‑night talk show The Noite, hosted by Danilo Gentili, recorded a 78% audience advantage over Record in the Thursday, 6 August ratings. In São Paulo the program averaged 2.05 Ibope points with a peak of 3.6, while in Rio de Janeiro it posted a 2.34‑point average and a 3.3 peak, both well ahead of Record’s figures.

In Portugal, the SIC news bulletin Jornal da Noite was the most‑watched programme on Friday, achieving a 6.6 % rating and a 16.7 % share, equivalent to about 652,600 viewers. The broadcast topped the day's audience table, outpacing rival shows on RTP1 and TVI.
