TÜV SÜD to host food industry expert meetings on safety and ESG

TÜV SÜD has announced upcoming food expert meetings in Hannover and Munich to address evolving challenges in the food and feed industry. The sessions will focus on food safety management, specifically regarding FSSC 22000 Version 7 and IFS Food standards, as well as sustainability requirements throughout the value chain.

In a broader industry context, companies are increasingly integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria into their procurement processes. This shift is driven by regulatory requirements such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act.
