TÜV SÜD to present amusement park safety solutions at IAAPA Expo Europe

TÜV SÜD will showcase its safety and accessibility services for the amusement park industry at the IAAPA Expo Europe, scheduled for September 22–24, 2026, in London. The company’s presentation will focus on traditional ride inspections, retrofit assessments for existing equipment, and the certification of ride maintenance and operations.

Through its ‘Fast Track to Accessibility’ (FTTA) concept, the provider aims to offer manufacturers and operators an efficient, risk-based approach to inclusion. Additionally, the company’s ‘Retrofit EN 13814/ ISO 17842’ program assists operators in modernizing rides to meet current technical standards. According to Christian Falk, Head of the Leisure Industry Department at TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH, such updates are essential to prevent the expiration of operating permits in countries including Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
