TV Today Network announces key editorial elevations

TV Today Network has announced two major editorial elevations within its newsroom. Geeta Mohan has been appointed as Group Editor-Foreign Affairs, while Akshita Nandagopal has been named Executive Editor-Output for India Today TV.

Mohan, known for reporting from conflict zones such as Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Iran, will lead the India Today Global multiplatform venture. Her previous work includes high-profile interviews with world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose interview drew 1.2 million concurrent live viewers.

Nandagopal, who joined the network in 2019, will lead the Output team. In her new capacity, she will work alongside Group Managing Editor-Production Samkhya Edamaruku to coordinate output and production efforts, reporting to Editorial Director Supriya Prasad.
