TV Tokyo announces new anime adaptations for upcoming projects

TV Tokyo has announced two upcoming anime projects. The network will produce and expand the character brand ‘Peropero ★ Sparkles’ created by popular illustrator Yurie Sekiya, which includes a planned television anime adaptation.

Additionally, the popular manga series ‘Tanuki to Kitsune’ by Atamoto is set to begin broadcasting on TV Tokyo starting October 4, 2026. Akatsuki Media Studio will handle the animation production. The announcement includes the release of a new key visual and the upcoming publication of the latest manga volume, ‘Tanuki to Kitsune Yurutto 2’, on October 15.
