TV4 hosts Anders Pihlblad and Steffo Törnquist share career updates

TV4 personalities Anders Pihlblad and Steffo Törnquist have shared updates regarding their roles at the Swedish broadcaster.

Anders Pihlblad, a veteran of the network for over 25 years, revealed he will lead a new program titled ‘Statsministerduellen’ (The Prime Minister Duel). The program is scheduled to feature Magdalena Andersson and Ulf Kristersson on the day before the election. Pihlblad also noted that he would never participate in reality television programs such as ‘Let’s Dance’.

Steffo Törnquist, a long-time host of the morning program ‘Nyhetsmorgon’, addressed rumors regarding his retirement. Despite being past the standard retirement age, Törnquist stated he continues to enjoy his work and has no immediate plans to leave, though he acknowledged that the day will eventually come. He currently maintains a schedule that allows for travel, including recent trips to Scotland.
