TVA and BVI award $700,000 for robotics education
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and Bicentennial Volunteers, Inc. (BVI) have announced $700,000 in funding to support robotics education. The awards will benefit 187 schools and non-profit organizations across the seven-state TVA region.
In Kentucky, 11 organizations will receive awards ranging from $2,500 to $5,000. Recipients include Bowling Green Independent Schools, Calloway County High School’s Robotics Team, and several others in Warren and Christian counties. The funds are intended to either establish new robotics programs or enhance existing ones.
This initiative marks the second year of the partnership between TVA and BVI. The program aims to prepare students for future career paths by providing hands-on technical skills.
