TVB drama ‘Deadly Evidence’ trailer reveals tragic character death

TVB has released the first promotional trailer for its new drama, ‘Deadly Evidence’, revealing a high-stakes plot point involving the death of a central character. The trailer shows Jinny Ng’s character, Shan Pei-ka, meeting a tragic end, forcing her best friend, forensic pathologist Cheng Chi-yan (played by Hera Chan), to perform the autopsy on her.

Hera Chan, who portrays a forensic pathologist with obsessive-compulsive disorder, expressed deep emotional distress during the filming of the scene. She noted that the experience was profoundly moving and difficult, as her character must find the truth behind her friend's death through the autopsy process.

The series follows a trio consisting of Cheng Chi-yan, her sharp-tongued supervisor Lin Chen (played by Alfred Wele), and an impulsive detective, Ko Chun (played by Kenneth Ma). Together, they work to solve complex cases by uncovering clues from deceased victims, exploring themes of human nature and resilience.
