TVB drama ‘死有對証’ reaches dramatic turning point

The TVB drama ‘死有對証’ (Evidence of Death) has reached a dramatic turning point involving its central characters. In recent episodes, the character Pang Mi-go, played by Jeremy Wong, manipulates Mei-ning (played by Faye Wong) by feigning injuries to cause a rift between her and her boyfriend, Ko Chun (played by Kenneth Ma). This manipulation leads to a breakup and a subsequent romantic encounter between Mei-ning and Pang.

Following their attempt to open a yoga studio together, a sudden accident occurs resulting in the death of Pang Mi-go. This incident leaves Mei-ning embroiled in a bank loan fraud investigation and under suspicion by the serious crime unit regarding her potential involvement in the death.

Viewers have reacted strongly to the characterizations, with many criticizing Mei-ning’s perceived materialism and infidelity. Meanwhile, actor Jeremy Wong, who recently completed his contract with TVB in September 2024, has received praise for his portrayal of the antagonistic role. Wong is currently pursuing freelance acting and managing a charity-focused retail business.
