TVING strengthens cloud security infrastructure with AWS

South Korean OTT service TVING is upgrading its cloud security infrastructure in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The company is utilizing AWS’s Security Improvement Program (SIP) to conduct comprehensive diagnostics and implement a customized security roadmap.

The security overhaul focuses on five key areas: identity and access management (IAM), detection capabilities, infrastructure protection, data protection, and incident response and automation. To ensure global standards, TVING is incorporating frameworks from the Center for Internet Security (CIS) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

TVING plans to expand its use of native AWS security services, including AWS Network Firewall, Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, and Amazon Inspector. These tools will help the company monitor network traffic, detect threats intelligently, manage security alerts centrally, and automate vulnerability assessments to improve response speeds.
